The rules governing use of the Mera Service
1.1. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between the Mera team (the “Administration”, “we”) and the individual (the “User”) who uses the “Mera” mobile application and website (the “Service”).
1.2. Use of the Service constitutes the User’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If the User does not agree to the Terms, the User must discontinue use of the Service.
1.3. The Administration reserves the right to amend these Terms without prior notice. The current version is available on this page.
2.1. Mera is a mobile application and web service for calorie counting and nutrition tracking that uses artificial-intelligence technologies.

3.1. To use the Service, the User must register an account by providing an email address and a password, or by signing in through Google or Apple.

3.4. Email confirmation is performed by entering a six-digit code sent to the address provided.
3.5. The User may delete their account at any time. Deletion of the account results in the permanent erasure of all associated data.

5.1. The Service’s AI features (photo analysis, text input, assistant) provide approximate estimates and are informational in nature.
5.2. The Service is not a medical application. The information provided by the Service does not substitute for the advice of a physician, dietitian, or other medical professional.
5.3. Use of AI features is subject to daily limits that depend on the subscription plan.
5.4. The Administration bears no responsibility for the accuracy of AI-generated estimates of calorie content or macronutrient composition.

6.4. The User may cancel the subscription at any time. Following cancellation, access to paid features is retained until the end of the paid period.
7.1. All rights in the Service, including the source code, design, text, algorithms, and trade marks, belong to the Administration.
7.2. The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7.3. Content created by the User (nutrition entries, profile data) remains the User’s property.
8.1. The Service is provided “as is”. The Administration does not warrant uninterrupted operation of the Service.

10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be referred to a court of competent jurisdiction.
10.3. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
